One of them is the husband of Scottish Labour MP Joani Reida, who represents East Kilbride and Strathaven and who sits on the Home Affairs Select Committee She said she is “not part of” her husband David Taylor’s business activities and added: “My children nor I are part of this investigation, and we should not be treated by media organisations as though we are. Above all, I expect media organisations to respect my children’s privacy.” Hmm, good luck with that plea, poor old darling. David Taylor was a SpAd to Peter Hain when he was Welsh secretary, and also previously worked for Senedd member Leighton Andrews when he was a backbencher.
