The famed Royal Portrush Golf Club will stage the 153rd Open Championship this week. The Dunluce Links ranks among the world's greatest courses. Situated on the picturesque North Antrim Causeway coast, it provides a massively challenging test to the world's leading players. Thick rough and testing greens combined with unpredictable weather and significant elevation changes throughout the course will result in only the cream coming to the top. It has several signature holes that can make or break a player's tournament. In particular, the fourth, fifth, and sixteenth. It last hosted The Open in 2019, when Dubliner Shane Lowry delighted the Irish fans with a runaway 6-shot victory. This week's winner will typically be a battle-hardened top-ten-in-the world player, with a passion for links courses.

Remember that different bookmakers offer different odds and number of places for Each Way bets. Below is a banner showing the bookies, the number of places and whether they are offering a quarter or fifth of the odds.

With all this in mind, here are my MAGNIFICENT SEVEN (Name and Current Best Price) + ONE FOR FUN selections for the Open Championship. Bets should be placed by 6.30am on Thursday morning.
