It was an interesting week on the UK Racing plc front, with Peter Savill pulling Plumpton out of the RCA brood (more will follow, I’m told) because the RCA was not best representing his racecourse’s interests and an interesting letter in today’s RP from the owner and former ROA board member Mark Albon, publicly asking, “How much longer will the Racehorse Owners Association allow owners to be used as the doormat for the whole racing industry?”
