I shortlisted 40/1 Understudy in the Ribblesdale (2nd) and picked another; I missed the Gold Cup Trifecta by being too cheap to box the selections which would have paid 100/6; it was day of endless near misses. Never mind. The Lobster was delicious, and the cheesecake and coulis outstanding. We just have to kick-on. However, I cannot remember when I’ve felt this knackered, so an early bath and schlafen.
We’re probably evens for the week…. fingers crossed…
