Day 2 of The Leger meeting
Thursday was one of those days when we were peppering the target at Donny, but not bringing it down. In the field, you’d have needed a brace of dogs to fetch so many pricked birds and a priest to finish them off. As you can see at the end of the last missive, we did marginally better than break even. However, I actually backed them with Bet365 in small-stake doubles and trebles, so the long prices doubled my stake, but a couple of winners would have made all the difference!
