Au bord de la mer... well a swimming pool actually!

I have just heard on the radio that Blighty is going to be drenched this weekend. This, of course, is direct from the BBC whose reliability in all such matters has to be called into question. Nonetheless, it seems likely that the ground will at the very least be good to soft by Saturday at Epsom and possibly have some cut for Friday’s racing.

You will forgive me for being brief, I’m sure, bearing in mind that a quiet four hour lunch with the Bridegroom-to-be and some free cocktails by the pool might make you suspect my reasoning. I am also reeduced to a tiny keyboard slightly larger than a beer mat, and the use of my wife’s fingers, who is capable of managing the tiny keys…. stop it, put that thought aside!!!
